So I was proud of myself for finishing two commissions in one day, finishing up 6 layouts for 6 other commissions, thumbnailing all of FG issue 4 and, yes AGAIN (blame my publisher okay), redoing the logo for it all in a record time of 3 1/2 days. So I decided to draw something for myself, and of course you guys. HA it's Lotis~ He's so like.... neglected. I've been wanting to draw him so badly lately. He's a fun guy, bit of a goof ball, but quite possibly the COOLEST older brother anyone could have (The kind that lets you drink as LONG as you share with him ). As I mentioned in the picture featuring him and Firn, he's currently working to become General, which is the position Firn is in now. He's second in command and often times goes on skirmishes with the new recruits and trains them on open ground and stuff. Being only 21 he can be kind of careless and forget that fact that he can... get hurt and well... probably die if he's not careful so he comes home looking like this a lot. Bruised, bloody, sore, and just down right worse for wear. But he loves it. Much to Hanz's annoyance. Lotis is sitting here thinking up a valid excuse for why he's so banged up after only 'training' as well as preparing himself mentally for the bitching out Hanz is sure to give him for not being careful. Yes... Hanz is the girl in their family situation. Lotis and Hanz are very close and often times Hanz is up till late hours worrying about his brother or sewing up wounds too deep to be left alone. I hope I can get across how close these two are as well as how Lotis' life dream of being General puts strain on their relationship.
AND for anyone who thinks his tattoo is overly feminine, please, I dare you say that to his face. His weapon of choice is a double bladed staff that's longer than he is tall (6 feet even) and he's known for being a bit.... stab and kill happy. Okay, he was drunk alright. It's what happens when you're in the military around a bunch of guys all the time. Hanz has already gone mother hen on him about mutilating his body, so give the guy a break. LOL!
I don't know what else I can say except "Hawt!"
I just love the tattoo, especially up the neck. The bruises and cuts look superb, and your stuff is always so clean and gorgeous. XD
he is so terribly schmexy^^ I love his pose, his hair and the secondary lighting! his arm seems a bit short and thin.. though. or is this just my distorted mind at work?

as always i'm not totally interested in what your characters look like (since they are always amazing) but rather, who they are. THEREFORE: i'm completely lost. @_@. all i have are annoying questions like: why was he drunk? why does he wear his hair like that? where did he get his tatoo. what happened to his hand. what color are his eyes (i can't tell from here the screen is fuzzy) what is he wearing, i think i see a zip. etc. i really would like to list the other questions but so much for annoyances. ^_^.
Don't think this is just another news article with the usual love deviations that have already hundreds of favorites! All of these deviations don't have even 100 favorites & they're the best!
Please watch them closely and show your appreciation! @
In this article I will provide you some ideas how you can build your own homestudio for considerably cheaper price than it would cost to use "official" studio gear. I will also show you few examples where I have used the gear I describe during this article.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
