...I'll float along with you...
I remember reading the description and seeing the refs for this and thinking "Ooooooooh. Oooh!" My retinas burn now I have to tell you, haha! But it was worth it. I'm proud of the pose, the composition, the colors, just everything in general. I hope *Merman1234 likes this as much as I liked working on it ^^. (Ya'll like those strategically placed though natural looking limbs don't you!!? No really this pose just happened!)
There's a story behind this I'm sure but since I wasn't given all the details I'll leave it up to everyone's individual interpretation. Something out of a fairytale I imagine it to be though <33.
Time taken: 17 hours
Tools: Paper, pencil, Painter 6 & Photoshop CS2
Someone asked before what I use to ink. 0.3 mm 3H mechanical pencil lead. I stopped digitally inking a year ago ^^.
It'll be a while before I upload again as I'm finishing other commission work. I felt like uploading this simply because it helped me feel like an artist again <3.
