I've been working on this project for a while now (among other things) and I'm finally finishing up some art to it. I like to call it 'Dream Creatures It's going to be a collection of short sequentials/storyboards and pin ups featuring different creatures I just enjoy drawing. Many of them are part human. It's broken up by the elements Air, Earth, and Water and whatever else I feel like throwing in. I'm working on 'Water' right now so you'll see lots of underwater pieces in the next few months. (more snippets on my webcam).

This piece was the first I attempted digitally with no lines to go off of. It took me well over 20 hours because I kept messing up. I tried to use only one layer and pick the colors only off the top of my head and go from memory. Things are probably off because I wasn't worried about being accurate or depicting the sea the way it SHOULD be. I wish I could have done the fish better but I'm really proud of the Jellyfish! It's really hard painting transluscent things, let alone translucent creatures. I think jellyfish are really cute for some reaon .

This project is probably going to take me a while to finish since I work on it on and off and I want to try to do lots of different styles, work on backgrounds and interaction, and methods of story telling. And if it's possible do lots of concept art ^^!
