I don't usually post commissions but the commissioner of these pieces insisted because he was so pleased and felt my work needed to be seen publicly. *It's his shameless yet sweet attempt at getting me more work too XD*. This lovely lady is part of a series of 5 Goddess's. She is Earth. I was told by the commissioner to keep them fairly simple yet elegant and not make them overly cliche. Not to weigh them down with jewelry, tattoos, ... or clothing. LMAO! They were supposed to look like they could be normal women but there'd be that "Goddess Glow" about them. The backgrounds were to remain simple and not overpower the character.
I lied. I like Water still, but I like Earth more. I never knew brown could be so much fun! And Earth seems like a fun person too! XD She seems spunky, like a party girl, but still very down to earth (no pun intended). I LOVE her outfit. If I had a tummy that flat I'd seriously wear this. Drawing her made me want to do some more Dahlz! OHHH, I love this one. Can't say anymore then that.
You know what I love best about your drawings? The color of the lineart. I know a lot of people do this, but for some reason it works REALLY well with the way you color and stuffs. Well done.
Absolutely stunning! I love this one too she does look fun and happy and hip. Ya know one of these days i wanna see you do a complex body drawing your frontal poses are beautiful I can only imagine what you could do if you tried a crazy action pose!

Don't think this is just another news article with the usual love deviations that have already hundreds of favorites! All of these deviations don't have even 100 favorites & they're the best!
Please watch them closely and show your appreciation! @
In this article I will provide you some ideas how you can build your own homestudio for considerably cheaper price than it would cost to use "official" studio gear. I will also show you few examples where I have used the gear I describe during this article.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
