And it is done! Holy freaking A! I had SOOOO much fun coloring this. It's been a long time since I dedicated so many hours to ONE picture. I'm very very much pleased with the results. This is my tribute and fan service to FFVII. I can't wait for Advent Children. Yes I am a FANGIRL ! I realized though that I really don't have many fanarts of FF7. I realized why once I started working on Cloud's hair.... All of the layers, or lack of there of in painter, for his hair. I added several little details in photoshop, like putting a shadow on Cloud's hair. It looked really flat when I finished it in painter. I am extremely proud of how well I kept the colors consistant. I tried putting some pink in the right bottom corner to balance it out with Aeris to the left. I hope I did that right. And a BG... kinda. Nibelheim burning! My favorite part of this pic is Sephiroth's nose. I am SO proud of that little detail. No lines, OH YEAH! It looks fleshy . I know this is small and lots of details got lost, but this is the biggest I could get it without making it over 2 megs for the net. Here are some close ups though;
