Goddess Series 4-5

I don't usually post commissions but the commissioner of these pieces insisted because he was so pleased and felt my work needed to be seen publicly. *It's his shameless yet sweet attempt at getting me more work too XD*. This lovely lady is part of a series of 5 Goddess's. She is Fire. I was told by the commissioner to keep them fairly simple yet elegant and not make them overly cliche. Not to weigh them down with jewelry, tattoos, ... or clothing. LMAO! They were supposed to look like they could be normal women but there'd be that "Goddess Glow" about them. The backgrounds were to remain simple and not overpower the character.

I had to fight with how this Goddess was supposed to look. I have... several versions of her and all of them cliche. She actually had red hair and looked like Myth in the first few versions. She's supposed to be an amazon/barbarian. Yeah, confused me too. So instead of the run of mill Fire I went with Lava. I mean.. it's still hot as hell right? (no pun intened) XD. I like her outfit too. Very cute! So here you have her. Working with orange... is hard. I had to find a color to off set the orange, which was blue, but not over power it. Blah. Anyway, it's done. XD Light is coming soon.
