Reaching for Raindrops by Nashya Reaching for Raindrops by Nashya
Finished! I don't think there's too much to explain here. Vielle, under a soft sun shower. Took me a while to get that water right. Yes, she's walking on the water (the power of the Fae). She's too light to sink in water that shallow. (Long story that will be explained in the pages of FG). EXTREME angle! It's not completely right, but I like it soooo, yeah I'm not going to try to fix it.

This will be the last FG picture I post for a while. XD

I like this one a lot. nice coloring on her hair. her slightly darker skintone looks so stunning with those green eyes. The feeling in this image is just so good. So hopeful and even a bit fun, though her expression is kind of enigmatic.

This is the first time I have ever seen your artwork up-close. I love this! The angle is pretty good and the choice of colors are fantastic!

I first got a glimpse of your art in the bookstore randomly today (Mangaka America). I was flipping through the book and your art caught my attention immediately. I love it!! It seems to send me into this... fantasy world. You comic "Fungus Grotto" is excellent! I can not wait until you update it!

Great job! I am now a fan!!

Your camera work on this is one of the BEST I've seen. It deserved my "fav"ing it. You managed to convey an attitude about the woman simply by chosing a different viewpoint to show this in. Your colors are excellent, and you have a real talent for art. Good work. Keep it up! :)

i love it; she's gorgeous. u say the perspective's off, but i can't even tell and i'm looking for it. wonderful coloring, and a beautiful choice of angle - i think foreshortening may be so difficult at this extreme angle that all but the pros avoid it . . . :floating: and i like that we're the same complexion. :)

Okay, first, the picture is gorgeous, obviously. ^^ I wish I had eyes like she does.

Second, I went through all the comments to make sure that no-one had pointed this out already. x_x
If (if if if!) she isn't sinking only because of her size/weight and the surface tension of the water, then she should be flailing right about now (or at least nearly losing her balance).. since things are falling into the water, the surface tension would be all broken up. ^^; And I'm sure there could be plenty of other reasons for her to be on top of the water, thus the if(s). ^^ Just to keep in mind if you -do- plan on drawing another picture with a small creature on top of water. >> I probably wouldn't have thought of it if it were my own picture. :D

I'm hyped for FG! I want to know everything about the characters. I'll be hanging around to see when I can buy it. :3
